Preconception Health

Preconception health refers to a woman’s health before becoming pregnant. Existing health conditions and risk factors can affect both the woman and her future baby.

Despite advances in medicine and prenatal care, about 1 in 8 babies is born too early. Experts agree that women should focus on improving their health before pregnancy.

By addressing health issues and risks early, you can help prevent complications that may affect you or your baby later.
