After Hours Care

When you have a non-life-threatening illness or injury after hours, The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center offers three close-to-campus options to connect you to the exact care you need.

Urgent Care

For minor to moderate conditions needing urgent attention but not serious enough to go to the emergency department. Visit billed at a primary care rate.

By appointment or walk in.

CONDITIONS WE TREAT

  • Cold, flu, strep, bronchitis and COVID-19 symptoms
  • Eye, ear, throat, sinus and upper respiratory infections
  • Sprains and strains
  • Suspected broken bones
  • Burns and cuts requiring stitches
  • Abdominal pain, nausea and diarrhea
  • Sexual health concerns
  • Seasonal allergies and allergic reactions
  • Urinary tract, kidney and bladder infections

Advanced Urgent Care

For more serious, non-life-threatening conditions. Our advanced level of care and diagnostics, led by emergency medicine physicians, gives you the expertise of the hospital emergency department but with shorter wait times and at a lower cost than visiting the emergency department.

By appointment or walk in.

  • Cuts needing stitches
  • Burns
  • Abdominal pain, nausea and diarrhea
  • Dehydration needing IV hydration
  • Sexual health concerns
