Flu Shot Clinics

Flu Shot Clinics/Programs are scheduled throughout Autumn and Winter quarter.

Who should be vaccinated each year?

  • People at high risk for complications from the flu, including:
    • Pregnant Women
    • People 50 years of age and older
    • People of any age with certain chronic medical conditions
    • People who live in nursing homes and other long term care facilities
  • People who live with or care for those at high risk for complications from flu, including:
    • Household contacts of persons at high risk for complications from flu (see above)
    • Household contacts and out of home caregivers of children less than 6 months of age (these children are too young to be vaccinated)
    • Healthcare workers
  • Anyone  who wants to avoid getting the flu

The cost for the vaccine at one of the clinics/programs is $25.00.

In addition to the scheduled programs, the flu vaccine will also be available every day in The Wilce Student Health Center Pharmacy from 8am - 11am.

"Stay Well" bag - distributed in the residence halls during Move-In.  Contains information on fighting the flu, a thermometer, and hand santizer.

"Get Better Bag" - available at the Student Health Center and residence hall desk for those students who are ill.
