CDC publishes updated adult immunization schedule

The newly updated 2009 Immunization schedule for Adults has been released by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  All OSU students are advised to stay up-to-date on their immunizations, especially against pertussis (whooping cough), HPV, influenza, and meningitis.  Some injections also protect against more than one disease, which can make the doses less expensive and less painful than getting each shot individually (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis, Hepatitis A&B)

All vaccines on the attached chart and recommended for adults under 60 years of age are available at the Student Health Center, along with several other vaccines used for international travel.  Come in or call SHS at 614-292-4321 for more information.
